This is the ingredient list for my recipes. I put a * next to the ingredients that I already have on hand.
Maple Ginger Pork Chops
4 boneless pork chops
1/4 tsp salt*
1/4 tsp pepper*
1 egg
3/4 tsp ground ginger*
1/2 cup bread crumbs*
3 tbsp butter*
1/2 cup maple syrup*
1 tbsp dijon mustard*
2 tsp cider vinegar*

5 green onions
1 can (8oz) sliced water chestnuts
1 tbsp oil*
2 eggs
8 (6 in) flour tortillas
3 boneless pork chops (about 1/2 in thick)
8 oz cole slaw mix (I am making my own by shredding cabbage & carrots - both used in other recipes)
Carrot & Black Bean Soup
1 tbsp olive oil*
3/4 lb carrots
1 medium onion
1 garlic clove
2 tsp finely grated orange zest
2 tsp dried oregano*
2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups water*
S & P to taste*
Shredded Pork - 1 boneless pork chop
Sour cream - for garnish

2-3 boneless pork chops
1 taco seasoning packet
Corn tortillas (1 doz)*
1 head of cabbage (shredded)

I found a great deal on boneless sirloin pork chops at Albertsons. Buy 1 get 2 FREE!
$13.25 for 3.32lb of meat....6 big chops. PLUS 2 more pkgs for free. So I got about 10lbs of meat for $13.25 That'll last me about 3 weeks!
That puts me at $71.02, so I'm a bit over budget. Hopefully some of this stuff will be on sale and I can keep it all under $70. We'll see!!
